Ellendale Elementary PTA would like to un-affiliate with the Shelby County Council PTA and affiliate with the new Bartlett Council PTA, which is currently being formed.  The change in bylaws is below:

 

Current:

 

Article XIII: Council Membership

Section 1.  This local unit shall be represented in meetings of the Shelby County Council PTA by the President or alternate, the principal or alternate, and up to four delegates or their alternatives.

 

Section 2.  This local unit shall pay annual dues of $.25 per member PTA council as provided in the council bylaws.

 

Proposed change:

 

Article XIII: Council Membership

Section 1.  The Ellendale Elementary PTA shall be represented in meetings of the Bartlett Council PTAs by the President or alternate, the principal or alternate, and by any member of the board of managers.  All representatives to the PTA council must be members of the Ellendale Elementary PTA.

 

Section 2.  The Ellendale Elementary PTA shall pay annual dues  to the Bartlett Council PTA as provided in the Bartlett Council PTA Bylaws.
