BCS Announces New Language Arts Instructional Coach

Bartlett City Schools is pleased to announce that Jennifer Doyle has been selected as the newest Language Arts Instructional Coach.  

Ms. Doyle is excited to take on this new role within the Teaching and Learning Department. Ms. Doyle recently completed her Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. She holds a Master’s degree in teaching with a focus in middle grades and special education. She has taught English Language Arts (ELA) for grades 6-8 as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) for grades K-5.

Ms. Doyle has worked with the Tennessee Department of Education on multiple assessment and standards related committees which has leveraged her ability to understand and relay information to colleagues. She has also worked for Instruction Partners as a Bootcamp Content Coach to increase her capacity to deliver high-quality and rigorous instruction as well as work side by side with other colleagues to do the same. Additionally, her work with EdReports has given her multiple opportunities to examine what good curriculum and resources look like across other districts and states. In her most recent role she served as the Instructional Coach for the past two years at Elmore Park Middle School, as well as ELA Department Chair, and Grading and Assessment Department Chair. During her time in an elementary setting she served as the Learning Coach.

As the Language Arts Lead Instructional Coach, Ms. Doyle is excited to help both students and colleagues find and achieve new heights.
