Mrs. Budde has served the Rivercrest community for the past fourteen (14) years, both as a parent and a teacher, where she began teaching full-time in 2007. She is a graduate of Bartlett High School and University of Memphis where she earned both her Bachelor’s (2005) and then her Master’s Degree in School Administration in 2017. She was also accepted and completed the Memphis Leadership Scholars Program, a rigorous program designed to prepare educators for future service in both school level and district leadership roles. She has been a teacher leader within the building by serving on Advisory Committees and as the school’s Instructional Coach. Through her work as an Instructional Coach she has supported teachers and worked to deliver professional development that met the specific needs of the school. Most recently, Mrs. Budde serves as the Interim Dean of Instruction for Rivercrest Elementary. Additional responsibilities have included working closely with the administrative team to support the school in various roles such as TEAM Evaluator, Instructional Support, STEAM, and Special Education.
Mrs. Budde is married to a Memphis Firefighter, and together they have three boys that have all been Redbirds. She loves supporting the students and staff at Rivercrest Elementary and is looking forward to continuing to serve the Rivercrest community as the Assistant Principal.
