The Bartlett High School Marching Band competed in Bands of America (BOA) Grand National Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana this past weekend. Ninety-two bands from all across the nation competed in the preliminary round over a two-day period. Bartlett placed 23rd in prelims and therefore advanced to semifinals. In the semifinals round, Bartlett placed 25th among the very best band programs in the country!
This was the first time in history that Bartlett has attended BOA Grand Nationals. Bartlett's goal was to be Bands of America Grand National Semifinalists by 2028, and over the weekend the program reached this milestone five years early. This is the 2nd time the Bartlett High School Band has made history this season. In October, Bartlett won the gold medal at the Bands of America Memphis Regional.
We are so proud of our students and their hard work this season. We are also grateful to our community and our Bartlett band family for all of their support!
