Lead Instructional Coach Named

Harrison
We are pleased to announce that Brennan Harrison has been selected as our newest addition to our Teaching & Learning team and will serve as our Elementary Lead Instructional Coach to begin with the 2024-2025 academic school year.

Mrs. Harrison was raised in Bartlett and is a proud alumna of Bartlett City Schools, having attended Oak Elementary, Appling Middle, and graduating locally. She continued her education at Austin Peay State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education, followed by dual Master’s degrees in Education and Educational Leadership from Christian Brothers University.

With a robust 12-year teaching career that began at Ross Elementary in Memphis, TN, Mrs. Harrison has steadily advanced in her career. Six years ago, she took on the role of Professional Learning Coach at Ross Elementary, and for the past three years, she has served as the Dean of Instruction and later as Assistant Principal at Rivercrest Elementary. Mrs. Harrison’s leadership has been instrumental in helping Rivercrest achieve significant milestones, including becoming a Reward School for two consecutive years, attaining Level 5 Achievement status, and being the first Bartlett City School to receive STEAM Designation by the Tennessee Department of Education. She has also served in various roles such as Instructional Chair, Instructional Leadership Team member, RTI2 Lead, Building Testing Coordinator, RTI2B Lead, and as a Title 1 Facilitator.

Outside of her professional life, she cherishes time with her husband and their four children. They enjoy backyard grilling, poolside gatherings, and various creative pursuits. Mrs. Harrison is excited to continue her commitment to supporting our teachers, staff, and administrators in all areas of curriculum and instruction to help improve student achievement through coaching, data analysis, assessments, and professional development.
