This prestigious award from the Tennessee Department of Education honors schools that prioritize civics education, empowering students with the knowledge and skills to engage meaningfully in their communities.
Across Tennessee, only 77 schools received this recognition. Schools achieving the Governor's Civic Seal must meet high standards, including professional development, real-world learning, and project-based assessments.
