Rivercrest Principal Receives Honor

Rivercrest Elementary’s Sharonda Rose Named Tennessee's 2024-2025 West Grand Division Principal of the Year by the Tennessee Department of Education!
 
This distinguished honor recognizes her exceptional leadership and dedication to fostering an inclusive and thriving educational environment.
 
Ms. Rose has served as principal of Rivercrest Elementary since 2019, bringing nearly twenty years of experience in education to the role. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Memphis and an Instructional Leadership license from Bethel University. She is also a graduate of the Governor’s Academy for School Leadership through Vanderbilt University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education at Trevecca Nazarene University.
 
Known for her commitment to creating a culture of collaboration and learning, Ms. Rose attributes her success to the support of the Rivercrest community, including its dedicated staff, engaged parents, and talented students. Under her leadership, the school has flourished, inspiring students to achieve their best.
