Mrs. Beach is a Bartlett High School graduate and longtime Bartlett resident who holds a Master’s degree in Education with a focus in Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Memphis. For the past thirteen years, she has served as a principal and assistant principal in the legacy Shelby County Schools district and currently the merged district. Her educational experience spans twenty-six years when she started as a teacher at Altruria Elementary and includes teaching at Elmore Park Middle and Shadowlawn Middle schools.
Dr. David Stephens, Superintendent of Bartlett City Schools, stated, “I am happy to bring someone of Stephanie’s caliber and educational experience to our team of principals. Stephanie is very familiar with Bartlett and has served as a teacher in several of our schools over her career. Her commitment and drive to succeed at every level is a testament and will build on our attitude of excellence within our District. I welcome her to Bartlett City Schools.”
Mrs. Beach replaces Marie DeLockery, who is retiring from Bartlett City Schools at the end of the current academic year. Mrs. DeLockery has served over thirty years as an educator with the past eight years as the principal at Oak Elementary. We thank Mrs. DeLockery for her many years of dedication and service to the students and families at Oak Elementary.
