Among the many successes that Ms. Johnson has led at her school is the naming of Altruria as a Reward School by the Tennessee Department of Education for 2016-2017, placing them in the top 5 percent of schools in the state for performance. Ms. Johnson has also lead many community-based service projects and actively involves both teachers and students and their families. Ms. Johnson has also been recognized by Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and our local media outlets for her volunteer service and dedication to Le Bonheur and in our community. Congratulations, to our Bartlett City Schools Teacher of the Year, Ms. Marva Johnson.
