Students will download the scaffolded equations practice sheet provided. After completing level 1 on the document, the students will check their answers on the answer document for level 1. If all answers are correct, students will move on to level 2 on the practice page, then do the same thing with level 2. The levels get more challenging as they go. Level 1 is the easiest level, while level 5 is more challenging.
 
Student Instructions
Start by downloading the scaffolded equations practice sheet provided. After completing level 1 on the document, check your answers on the answer document provided for level 1. If all answers are correct, you will move on to level 2 on the practice page, then do the same thing with level 2. Continue this pattern until you have completed the practice page. If you miss any, make corrections until you get them correct before moving on to the next level. The levels get more challenging as they go. Level 1 is the easiest level, while level 5 is more challenging. Please do as much as you are able.

Parents: For this week's Enrichment activity, students will follow the directions on the Legends of Learning Step Sheet to create an account and log-in to play a gaming style review of Percent and Ratio & Rate problems. Students can also complete a cumulative math skill review in The Awakening Game that has also been assigned in Legends of Learning.
 
Student Instructions
Students: You will download the file "StepSheet- Legends of Learning" and follow the directions to create an account and log-in. If your teacher has an account, you may receive a different TEACHER CODE to use via your email, REMIND, or Curve. Once your account is created, you will log-in and there are several PLAYLISTS assigned to review percent and ratio and rates. There is also a challenging review of all math skills in The Awakening Game.

Students should go to IXL and sign in. Once students are signed in they click on the social studies button at the top of the page underneath the globe. Once on the social studies page, they should scroll down to seventh grade and choose to see all 196 skills. Students then scroll down until they see the heading: Y. Medieval Asia. Underneath this heading they should complete Y.1: Feudal Europe, Y.2: The Crusades, Y.3: The Middle Ages after 1100. Students should know their login information but if they have forgotten it they can email their social studies teacher.

They will need to do two things: 1) show how the different classes appeared (how they dressed) and 2) explain what role each class played in the feudal system.
