THIS WEEK THEY CAN COMPLETE RABIT POPULATIONS BY SEASONS, OR FOOD CHAINS. If your student has completed a Gizmo in the past few weeks, they will click on the file “Already have an account”. If your student has not completed one, the file entitled "Setting up a Gizmo account" will take them through the process of setting up an account and completing the assignment. Students are to research a Greek god/goddess of their choosing to create a product for a commercial. They will make a video of the product and relate the product to the Greek god/goddess of their choosing. Research the god/goddess using the resources ducksters.com and discovery ed (through Clever). Next, student will use the god/goddess they decided to research to come up with a product for a commercial. Example: Poseidon is the Lord of the Sea so my idea is Poseidon Pools. I would then create and video my commercial selling my idea. Be creative and just sell your product to the world!! This idea would allow me to convince the public to buy Poseidon Pools over others. I would explain what my pools are all about and why they should buy mine over other pool companies. This is to be fun and allow student to show that they understand the god/goddess and can relate it to a product of their choosing. Email the completed commercial to your teacher for feedback.
