This year, Bartlett City Schools has named Ms. Marva Johnson of Altruria Elementary School as our Principal of the Year. We appreciate Ms. Johnson for her leadership and vision at Altruria Elementary and for the energy and passion she brings to Bartlett City Schools.

Join us for a meet and greet with the construction team that will transform Bartlett High School. They will be serving hot dogs and answering your questions about the high school renovation project.

Congratulations to Art Teacher Amanda Tutor on being selected as one of 25 art educators from across the country to participate in the 2019 National Association for Art Educators School.

The Bartlett City Schools Board of Education met in special session on May 10, 2018 to determine the weight of 2018 TNReady test scores on students’ final averages for the 2017-2018 school year. Based on the Superintendent’s recommendation the Board voted unanimously not to count any TNReady scores in students’ grades for this school year.

Bartlett City Schools has been selected for the 2018 Best Communities for Music Education award by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation.

We appreciate the opportunity to share information about our Transition Fair on the WREG News Channel 3 "Live at 9" show this morning. Bartlett City Schools will host a Transition Fair on Thursday, April 5 at Bartlett High School. Resources will be available for families and students with special needs.

Congratulations to Mr. Anthony Q. Richardson, music teacher at Oak Elementary, for being selected as a regional finalist in the 2018-19 Teacher of the Year program by the Tennessee Department of Education!
