Our Built for Bartlett high school renovation project was recently featured by The Commercial Appeal.

The Bartlett City Board of Education will hold an Oath of Office Ceremony on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 6:30 P.M. at the Bartlett City Hall – 6400 Stage Road - Bartlett, TN.

Rivercrest Elementary School is one of 20 elementary and middle schools from across the nation selected by Crayola and the National Association of Elementary School Principals to receive a “Champion Creatively Alive Children” school grant.

This week the Tennessee Department of Education released high school graduation rates for the 2017-2018 school year. We are pleased that Bartlett High School's graduation rate has increased again this year to 96.2 percent, a 2.3 percent increase over last year's data.

BCS is pleased to announce that Ellendale Elementary, Oak Elementary, Bon Lin Middle, and Bartlett High School (including the Bartlett Ninth Grade Academy) have been awarded Reward School status, placing them among the top schools in the state for improving overall student academic achievement and student growth for all students and student subgroups.

Bartlett City Schools is hosting a series of parent workshops to discuss tools for changing behavior. The 4-week sessions will be at Rivercrest Elementary School starting on October 23 from 5:30pm-7:00pm.

Congratulations to Ellendale Elementary visual art teacher, Amanda Galbraith! Mrs. Galbraith was named the 2018 TN Arts Education Association Teacher of the Year. Several of our schools, and a teacher at Bon Lin Middle, received top honors in the Readers' Choice Awards recently released by The Bartlett Express.

Superintendent Dr. David Stephens recently talked with the City of Bartlett to share some exciting updates happening at Bartlett City Schools. Thank you to the City for the opportunitity to be featured on their FYI Bartlett show.

Bartlett City Schools is extremely proud to have earned an overall composite TVAAS level of 5, the highest growth level possible and becomes one of only eleven districts in the State to earn the Level 5 distinction for each subject-area.
