The Commercial Appeal has named Bartlett City Schools as a "Top 10 Large Business Workplace" for 2017. Superintendent Dr. David Stephens was also presented with the "Leadership Award" for his outstanding leadership.

Bartlett City Schools has once again earned Exemplary district status, Reward School for the 2016-2017 school year.

The Tennessee Department of Education has released ACT scores for school districts across the State. We are proud to say that Bartlett City Schools has shown an increase in ACT scores every year since inception.

The Tennessee Department of Education recently released TVAAS scores for school districts across the state. Bartlett City Schools earned an overall composite TVAAS level of 5, the highest growth level possible. Bartlett City Schools is one of 55 school districts, out of 144 across our state, to earn this distinction. We appreciate the work from our educators and the support of our school board and community.

Bartlett City Schools revealed the master plan details for the campus of Bartlett High School at a recent Bartlett City Board of Education meeting.

Congratulations to Superintendent Dr. David Stephens who is representing the state of Tennessee at the American Association of School Administrators National Conference on Education for National Superintendent of the Year.

Bartlett City Schools is excited to honor Daniel Wright (Class of 2009) as the first Major League Baseball player (currently with the L.A. Angels) in the history of Bartlett High School. The presentation will be during halftime of the home basketball game this Friday, January 6 at 8:00pm.

An external review team visiting Bartlett, TN this week recommended to the AdvancED Accreditation Commission that Bartlett City Schools earn the distinction of accreditation by AdvancED. The External Review Team, consisting of university and PK-12 administrators from Arkansas, Tennessee, and Virginia, noted they appreciated the hospitality, support and professionalism of the District’s employees.
